Mark Weston, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P., F.S.C.A.I. Transplant Cardiology

Mark Weston, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P., F.S.C.A.I. received a fellowship in cardiology and completed his Residency in internal medicine at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Weston was the Director of Tampa General's Cardiology Non-invasive Laboratory for eight years through 1996. He is board certified in cardiovascular diseases and in internal medicine.
He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Intervention (FSCAI).
Dr. Weston's research in cardiac transplantation is very extensive, and has been published in numerous publications.
His most recent research and soon-to-be published study involved Doppler tissue imaging to determine rejection. It is the first of its kind in the world to be published.
Dr. Weston is part of LifeLink's transplant cardiology team.
