Samuel Weinstein, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.S.N. Transplant Nephrology

Samuel Weinstein, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.S.N. has been affiliated with LifeLink's transplant nephrology team since 1979. He completed a clinical and research fellowship in renal medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts and his residency in medicine at Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Weinstein is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and nephrology.
He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa, Florida and holds several appointments at Tampa General Hospital; he is Co-Director of TGH's Renal Transplant Service and Director of the immunology service of the Cardiac Transplant Program.
Dr. Weinstein specializes in nephrology, hypertension and transplantation.
Having accomplished extensive research in these areas, he has been awarded numerous research grants and published his work in many publications and journals.
