Charles E. Sanders, M.D., F.A.C.P. Transplant Nephrology

Charles E. Sanders, M.D.,F.A.C.P., received his nephrology training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his transplant fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Sanders is the Medical Director of the Kidney Transplant Program at LifeLink. He rejoins the LifeLink family after serving two years on the faculty at the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Dr. Sanders is a transplant nephrologist with additional experiences and qualifications in liver transplantation medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.

Dr. Sanders has a particular interest in transplant immunosuppressive management, pharmacological research and chronic allograft dysfunction. He is part of LifeLink's transplant nephrology team.
