LifeLink's hospital development staff gives support and education within hospitals and a good deal of time is spent on the national Collaboratives, whose mission is to increase organ donation in the nation's largest hospitals.

Many of LifeLink's existing practices were recognized as Best Practices by HHS for the National Organ Donation Breakthrough Collaborative initiative, whose mission is to increase organ donation in the nation's largest hospitals. Participating hospitals in Florida received recognition for enhanced achievements, and others are implementing mechanisms for improvement
