The non-profit LifeLink of Puerto Rico performs all aspects of human organ and tissue donation, procurement and processing for transplantation research throughout Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It operates under the authority of the Social Security Act and in accordance with the National Organ Transplant Act passed by Congress in 1984.
