LifeLink of Puerto Rico is an independent, non-profit organization which performs all aspects of human organ and tissue donation, procurement, and processing for transplantation and research.

It is one of six divisions of LifeLink Foundation, headquartered in Tampa, FL. LifeLink collaborates with hospitals, medical professionals, other agencies (such as medical examiners and law enforcement) and the public to increase awareness of the growing need for organ and tissue donation.

LifeLink medical professionals are on call 24 hours daily, serving a population of nearly 4 million throughout Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with the direct collaboration of the two transplant centers in their service area
