TAMPA, Fla. – (March 13, 2012) – The public is invited to join LifeLink Legacy Fund® for the fourth annual Coach Minahan Celebrity Lunch on April 13, 2012, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Columbia Restaurant in historic Ybor City.

Coach Bill Minahan is a living legend who began his football career at the University of Tampa and went on to become one of Tampa’s most memorable high school football coaches, with a twenty-eight-year career at Jesuit High School leading the Tigers to championship titles as head football coach. Twenty-four years ago, Coach Minahan received a lifesaving kidney transplant. This miracle influenced his life and the lives of many in the Tampa Bay Area. The Coach Minahan Celebrity Lunch is an open house style event to commemorate the anniversary of Coach Minahan’s kidney transplant and his contributions to the Tampa Bay community.

The Coach Minahan Celebrity Lunch includes celebrity waiters, fabulous door prizes and great food from The Columbia Restaurant. This event is free, but guests will be invited to make a financial donation in support of patients with little or no insurance coverage. Due to the popularity of this event, reservations are essential. If you would like to attend please RSVP by calling 813-253-2640 ext 1216.
