Innovator. Trendsetter. Lifesaver. LifeLink Foundation is all of those and more. Our organ procurement organizations are recognized nationally for their innovative and proven methods of hospital development, requesting and public education. Our Tissue Bank, one of the largest in the Southeast, will soon expand into a new state-of-the-art facility which will allow more allograft treatment options for surgeons and the patients they serve. Our immunology laboratory is a pioneer, most recently in the expansion of immunological monitoring post transplant which allows for the prediction of organ rejection episodes before clinical signs and symptoms occur. Our stellar teams in the HealthCare Institute treat scores of patients through transplantation and disease management. Our Board of Governors and Advisory Boards provide guidance toward our mission - saving and enhancing lives.
LifeLink's success is commendable; however there is much to be done. Sadly, too many still die daily because their life-saving organ was not available. We must press forward towards the day when everyone who needs a transplant will be able to receive one.
